Facilitated by our Re-centre Clinicians, this workshop focuses on creating a greater understanding of grief and loss along with exploring the grief process. This workshop further aims to identify types of losses and ways to skillfully cope with grief and loss.
This workshop concentrates on the meaning and types of loss a person can experience. Participants will gain a greater understanding of grief and the grief process while skillfully identifying and using techniques to cope with grief and loss.
Grief and loss are an inescapable part of the human experience. No one will go through life without having multiple losses. Many may be minor and some will be very significant. The impact of each will vary according to how significant it is to each individual, but all will carry a degree of grief. Attending this workshop can benefit participants to help manage their loss and grief skillfully.
This workshop is set over 2 hours and includes a personal workbook to support you on your journey.
The Navigating Grief and Loss workshop aims to cover the following key content areas:
Loss defined and types of loss
Exploring grief – reactions to grief
Understanding the grief process
Coping with grief and loss
How to support those grieving
Participants of this workshop will gain a greater understanding of grief and the grief process while skillfully identifying and using techniques to cope with grief and loss.
About the workshop
Navigating Grief and Loss is a two hour workshop. The cost of each workshop is $100 which is inclusive of GST.
