Burnout is a growing global phenomenon found in the workplace due to prolonged chronic interpersonal stressors. With the ability to always be ‘switched on’ it’s now more important than ever that we all develop ways to look after ourselves to combat burnout in the workplace.
Facilitated by our Re-centre Clinicians, our Understanding Burnout workshop offers you an understanding of what burnout is, and how it differs from stress. You will learn how to identify factors that contribute to development of burnout, and when you or someone around you may be at risk.
Course Sessions
Set over 2 hours, you’ll meet in a warm group environment.
The Understanding Burnout workshop covers the following key content areas:
- What is burnout, and how is it different from stress
- Recognising burnout in yourself
- Understanding how burnout can develop
- Develop some key strategies and practical skills to help you recharge, renew, reclaim and restart free from burnout.
Course Outcomes
At the end of this workshop you will understand what burnout means, and why it is different from stress or depression.
You will be alert to catching the signs in yourself, and you will understand the powerful impact our thoughts can have on our feelings and behaviour.
You will start developing your personal combat burnout plan, and identify aspects of your own personal and work life where you can affect change.
